about me

My name is Fanis Juma. . I have a passion for supporting groups, organizations and systems on a wayfinding journey towards community wellness. For more than fifteen years, the African Community Wellness Initiative has been my practice home for advancing responsive community practice models.

In response to social challenges, institutions can adopt new practices that nurture justice and produce equitable outcomes.

ASCM

Drawing from African Indigenous Knowledge Systems (AIKS), I use an Afrocentric-Sharing Circle Model (ASCM) to facilitate conversations that raise critical consciousness in organization and institutional settings.
